Northwest Coatings Festival 2009 Recap

From May 4th to 6th, 2009, the technical and sales community of the Pacific North West gathered in Victoria BC, Canada, for the 2009 NW Coatings Fest Conference. This program had 15 presentations including innovations in research and development that will be key to the industry of tomorrow.

The following were among the highlights of the Coatingsfest 2009:

Keynote Luncheon address

The Keynote Speaker was Ms. Donna Wilson Executive Vice President – Human Resources, Sustainability and International Client Services, of VANOC. She introduced the conference with a presentation on the 2010 Olympics. She transferred the hope and strength of the Olympics and handed us the 2010 torch, “to carry on the flame” of hope through these tough economic times.
