Vancouver BC Section

The Vancouver Section of the PNWSCT meets monthly to learn about changing technologies and to serve our members and the public at large in the promotion of science and hopefully to have some fun.

Highlights:

Christmas social

-2010 will be the first year in many that the PNWSCT has it’s own social. Bonnie and Mihaela have put together an evening  at Capone’s restauraunt www.caponesrestaurant.net Friday November 26^th at 6:30pm. More details to follow

February Bowl-O-Rama

This event is a “must see event”. Come out and enjoy seeing your suppliers, customers, co-workers and friends try and beat the standing champions. The coveted Bowl-o-rama trophy could have your name next!

This year it will be held on February 19th 2011 at the Sandcastle in Surrey. See the calendar for details!

Childrens hospital – JR Memorial golf tournament

This golf tournament held in honor of John Riddel is a tradition carried on from the former BCPMA and is held with the Packaging group, In 2010 we were able to raise funds for the Childrens hospital – helping sick children in BC.

Science Expo

New for 2011

The PNWSCT Vancouver section - Education Chair,  Mr. Vernon Lo (Debro) is pleased to announce that we have supported the "Greater Vancouver Regional Science Fair) www.gvrsf.ca  with a $200 donation. "We hope to encourage and foster an interest in the sciences." Please consider supporting this worthy cause.
